The wait for my new Vivaldi II is killing me!

I've had my brand new Viv II in the basement for two weeks now. My kitchen might be useable later this week. Hopefully, I can be pulling shots by Friday.
I'm dying to use it!
I just had to vent!

Oh man, I only had to wait a week to get mine going. Deep breathing exercises, calisthenics, dunno what will help!
Now I just wait on the various accessories that I seem to keep ordering to arrive. I'm still pulling shots into what I *thought* were my scotch glasses, turns out they're ideal for espresso, too!

Ok, things are looking up. I think the plumber and electrician will be finished today!
My water connection is a full copper up from the basement with the softener and filter inline. Softener and filter are mounted on the wall above the clothes washer. Very nice!
The contractor installed a chrome valve in the hole drilled in the countertop. It looks awesome!

Oh, yeah, I already thought of posting photos. I'll try to get a couple tonight.
Ok, it turns out that what I have is similar to or exactly like a 90 degree angle stop valve. Imagine the top one sticking out of your countertop!

Sweet!
This is a LOT like my project two weeks ago. Header board attached with a drill hammer & Tapcon screws. I ended up putting a Tee and a Regulator/Gauge after the carbon filter; the Tee was good advice from this board, I used it to flush 5 gallons through the softener & filter into a bucket to get rid of the initial sediment from the filter.
Soldering was something fun to learn, too, I'd never done any open-flame soldering, only electronics.

I ran the output up through the floor inside a wall and out through a blank wall plate, not as nice as your valve but not a hack job either. Nice setup!Bushrod wrote:
Here are the filters.
