latte in glass
ordered a latte at a coffee shop in arizona. it came in a tall glass with the coffee poured in after the milk. is there a specific name for this

Re: latte in glass
I see that here too. The espresso foam is etched into a design on top of the milk. And it's called a latte with no further distinction.
I guess it's just a presentation, like a rosetta on a capuccino, which is nevertheless called a capuccino like any other.

Re: latte in glass
i thought the espresso poured into the milk is sometimes called some sort of shot, not a bullseye, but something close; i find the glass presentation, instead of a cup, more unusual, at least nothing that i generally see in NY; funny, last year when i was in the same place, the latte also came in the tall glass, but the person at the machine tilted the glass on the side which was held up by one of the spouts so you could get the espresso in first
