does anyone have a better solution for breaking down clumps other than stirring the clumps in the portafilter as they come out of the cone. i was at a coffee shop today that had one of the new electronic roburs that spits out the ultra fluffy coffee w/o clumps. any way to adjust the mini mazzer e to get this effect or at least cut down on the clumping. is the screen that the coffee passes through on the robur before going into the cone different from what is used on the mini

I can't answer your question, but you have me hungering after that Robur you saw. Perhaps the grinder manufacturers are crossing a new frontier and beginning to addresss clumping.

(In fairness, their core customers who probably load up the doser and then whack ground coffee out will not see any difference. It's only we grinder-abusers that want even single shots to pass without clumps that will appreciate the change.)
