I am considering buying an S1. I have done quite a bit of looking online and have read various reviews, forums, etc and even went to Chris Coffee in Albany to see the machines in person. But what I would like to know is for those that have owned hx machines and now own the S1, do you greatly prefer the S1 for quality, consistency, etc? What are the advantages and disadvantages of one vs. the other in everyday use? After regular use, does anyone feel like they would have been better of with a different machine?
I know that advice from an owner's forum will tend to be biased toward the equipment the forum is dedicated to but I'm not sure where else you could get the experience of so many that have actually used an S1 on a daily basis.
How does S1 compare to HX Models?

I owned a QuickMill HX at the same time as the S1.
There's no comparison to a HX with the S1, I now have two S1's and sold the QuickMill
