how many seconds per notch 8)

Damn!
...and I was just home grinding for a Ristretto at lunch.
I can report back in a few hrs when I go home again for the evening espresso.
I think half turn (90 degrees) clock-wise direction with a screwdriver represents 1 second, so in theory a full 180 would be 2 seconds.
I could be wrong but I'm willing to take the screwdriver to the Mazzer and tell you.

Definitely.
One line ain't going to do anything...
Go at least a whole half turn around to feel it.
