Today's tip: Don't do this . . .

Came home Friday and my lovely wife was preparing to make chocolate chip cookies! She decided to warm the stick of butter over the cups on the cup warmer.

So you can see where this is going . . . A little inattention and I spent the next hour cleaning butter off of the boiler, inside cabinet, and anyplace else it could find. Still have a faint hint of butter . . .

Anyway, I did not get mad, cookies were great, and I doubt this will come up again. . .

I've heard of adding butter to the beans during roasting but never heard of butter while brewing... :-)
