S1 Plumbing

My S1 is arriving tomorrow and I have a quick question regarding the water intake on the machine. As I understand it there is a braided 1/4" pipe which you hook your water up to. How long is this pipe and how thick is it? Anyone have any pictures?

Mine's buried so going off memory. Length is about 40". Outside diameter of hose is about 1/2" but the captured nuts on the ends must be 7/8-1" in diameter.

Do you need exact measurements for drilling or something?

Thanks for the info Stu. Just trying to figure out how I'm going to route the hoses. Drilling through my sink is inevitable, just hoping to limit the size of the hole.

For what it's worth, my S1 is positioned between our sink and refrigerator. I found that I could bring the tubing up between the refrigerator and countertop after running the tubing through the back inside of the base cabinets - this way I avoided drilling directly through the countertop or sink.

The nut is about 7/8" and can't be removed, but the line is only about 1/2" OD.
