Gasket
Changed my group head gasket this mornig, the other one was hard as a brick, brittle, and cracking. How often do yhou change this thing?

Maybe I ought to check mine again. I've had mine for 18 months and am still on the first gasket. Six or more months ago I took it out and inspected it and it still seemed soft so I just flipped it over and put it back.

I think Rhino's comment is the key. My gasket is a year old and looks brand new. I only have my machine on about an hour a day and I clean the gasket about once a week. I suspect it makes sense to keep a couple of spares around if your machine is on a good deal of the time.
