Hello everyone. I am new here but have really enjoyed all of the detailed info. I currently have a PID'd Silvia with Mazzer Mini and Baratza Vario. I am getting very good results but want for more, which brings me here. I was thinking of upgrading to Andreja Premium or Giotto but for only a little more I can get a new Vivaldi Mini II. I am going this route now as soon as I can get the cash together and work the wife into accepting the idea. I am sure I will have plenty of questions but I will search first. Just wanted to say hi.

You are making a move that just about all of us have, but you've tweaked your (shall we say?) "transition" machine more than most. You should find it a treat to work with the Vivaldi. Our experience and yours will both be working for you.

I'm curious which of your two grinders does the better job for espresso IYO? We've heard so much about the little Vario it would be interesting to hear how it compares to your Mini.
