Red Light On

Post by Zzyzx » Wed Dec 12, 2007 1:10 pm

Weird thing happened this morning.

My wife turns on the machine when she gets up to make her coffee, after I get up I make mine.

This morning though, the only light that was on was the red boiler light and the group was cold. Normally when my machine is off just the blinking green standby light is on.

So like any normal computer person would do, I just rebooted (unplugged and plugged back in) the machine then pressed the on button and it all came back to normal. Very strange.

Any Ideas? Could have it over heated and shut itself off with the boiler light on?

Do you have the timer?

It appears to not be any kind of alarm.
I wouldn't worry about it since it cleared itself up after "rebooting".
I've had similar experiences where things were awry and unplugging the machine cleared it up.

Ya, I hope it was just a random glitch. Appears ok now. All I could think of at the time was, "I need my coffee!"
