Splash rail--is it removable?

Post by kdkrone »

We have 15 1/4 inch clearance between our countertop and our cabinets, which would make it a tight fit.

Is the splash rail on the top of the S1 enclosure removable?

Thanks

Sure. It just pulls right off. It's not screwed or attached in any way. I guess using the cup warner feature is out for you! Of course if your plates are in the cabinet right above you'll have a plate warmer!

That's exactly my situation  So I pulled the machine out a liitle bit to have enough space for one row of cups

Not just a plate warmer but a flourescent light lens warmer, as well. We will see how it goes....!

About how much extra space will it give me if the rail is removed?

Thanks for the response,
Ken
