what are some of the techniques people are using to break up those small clumps i get in the pf when grinding with my mini mazzer doserless 8)

Toothpick, needle attached to a cork, etc.

A friend of mine has some tool that some guy made a bunch of.

I have been using a wooden skewer, which might be a little coarse, but the jury is still out.

and there's nothing to do with the mazzer the better break up the clumps? 8)

What did you have in mind? A head-mounted ultrasonic wave machine? :D

Maybe we need to find out what they use for breaking up gallstones or kidneystones?

OK, what I had in mind is called the Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT).

I use a chopstick and stir the grinds as they fall into the basket, the results are great and there's no time lost in the technique. The PF loses heat really quickly so the less time lost, the better off you'll be.
