backflush insert
backflush insert
Should I have received a backflush insert with my machine? I suspect I can rig something up.
backflush insert
I didn't receive a backflush insert either. To improvise, I made some copper washers using a hole saw, soldered them together, plugged the center hole with another piece of copper. This didn't quite work (the "jiggle rinse" worked but not the backflush). I cut out a piece of plastic from a yoghurt lid and put that under the copper disk and that worked. Probably would have been easier to ask for one from Chris but wasn't sure I was supposed to get one.
Re: backflush insert
I get the impression that the new technique described for cleaning the group head is supposed to eliminate the need for back flushing. I must admit that everytime I have removed the diffuser and screens, the group head is perfectly clean.sjseattle wrote:I didn't receive a backflush insert either.
