Do we really need all these separate forums for V1 & V2?

I find many of the topics either duplicated between the V1 & V2 areas or the specific content being just as applicable to either the V1 or V2. I'm guessing that most people are fully reading through both sets of forums because the content may benefit them regardless of the model. I really think it would streamline the forum and make it easier to navigate with fewer areas.

There honestly is not that much difference between the two models that I feel they should be contained within their own segregated areas.

Anyone else feeling the same?

I agree, a unified set of topics would be better.

You do make a good point, I think Chas is still working out the sections of the site as a whole slowly. He's combined some of the stuff that pertain to both machines already.
The machines are pretty different in how they operate when you watch them both fire up, idle, maintain temps and the steaming is night and day.
