Bluetooth App Connection - Help Needed
Bluetooth App Connection - Help Needed
Hello All, first post here.
I just received a New S1 Mini Vivaldi II direct from Bergamo (via a local Australian online store) and have discovered that it appeared to have built in Bluetooth timer functionality but there is no useful info on how to set this up. I was alerted to it's potential presence by the attached info sheet. The nRF app picks it up as 'S1' but the La Spaziale app they mention does not exist on the play store. I found an online info sheet suggesting it should be downloaded as an .apk file and manually installed but without any location. Can anyone help?

Weird that they added Bluetooth rather than Wi-Fi. With Bluetooth you have to be close enough to the machine to use it that it buys you little additional functionality over just using the front panel.

I wonder if the reference to Bluetooth is an error. As far as I can tell there is nothing Bluetooth or Wi-Fi about the timer replacement module in the VII. Mostly it ensures that when powered up the VII is in the ON mode rather than in standby. Then you separately buy a Wifi Power Module that plugs into the wall, with the VII plugged into the Wifi power module. Each manufacturer of the WIfi modules has their own Android/iPhone App to install and set up as desired to control the power.

This is what I believe forum member Slavka001 developed.
I have the exact thing, works great with a smart plug (wifi controlled).

Thanks all - I agree that it's weird to have bluetooth without wifi. There is fairly detailed instructions on the La Spaziale website showing how to update firmware using the nRF app and Bluetooth so this may be one reason for its inclusion but the mystery reference to a time app us still puzzling me. I did contact the reseller and one of their team in Italy has replied asking whether I'm on an iPhone or Android so I'm hoping that's a good sign! Will post an update when I hear more.

I also discovered that the "n" in nRF stands for Nordic Semiconductor.

It looks like you are going to be the trailblazer with this new feature. We look forward to you telling us how it works!
BTW: Do you have a link for this information on the LaSpaziale website? I couldn't find it.

The info on the nRF app and firmware update instructions is under 'Download' tab part way down this page https://www.laspaziale.com/index.php/en ... egory_id=5

Hi, just bought a mini vivaldi and got stumped on the app not being on the play store. Did you get an answer on this? Thanks
