Hi all
Recently replaced the steam boiler on my Mini Vivaldi MKII , and all seems well except that i have no hot water.
When pushing the hot water bottom it clicks fine but only steam comes out the spout. No matter how long i let i it run for only steam.
I have tried regulating the steam boiler temperature down and messing with the depth of the water level prope. No luck.
Any ideas?

Does hot water come out of the steam wand or do you still get steam out of the steam wand?

Re: Only steam from hot water spout
The drawing below shows an extension tube that screws into the fitting that attaches the hot water plumbing to the boiler. The tube is supposed to go below the surface of the water so that you get hot water rather than steam. If it is missing or if the water level probe is so long that it extends farther down than the end of that extension tube, the water level will be too low and you'll get steam.
The problem has to be one or the other of these two options.

Re: Only steam from hot water spout
Thanks chas
I have been suspecting this and I have tried moving the prope further up.
Now I am thinking that maybe I have switched the fittings to the hot water tube with the one for the safety valve and left the extension tube on the safety valve connection.
I will take it apart again and find out.

If you think you may have some items screwed into the wrong holes, you can use some of the photos in this thread to check yourself.
