La Spaziale Timer Gains > 1 min per week

The subject says it all. It gains at least a minute per week, and has since new in 2009. Has anyone found a fix to this apart from resetting it every couple of months?

In a more positive note, this has been the most durable and reliable espresso machine I've owned. 5+ years with only one leak, experienced early on when a hose clamp slipped off. Brilliant design.

I think you're stuck with it. They must use a really cheap clock crystal for their oscillator and then didn't design in any kind of trimmer so that the accuracy could be fine tuned.
