Blinking power light

I just set up my S1 Dream T yesterday and have a quick/silly question. When the machine is off, the red power button on the LDC display blinks continually. Is this normal or is there something I missed in set up that needs addressing? It is operating fine and so far so good other than that. Already getting decent shots after some practice.

That's normal. Of the thousands sold so far it really bothers one person. Are you going to make two?

I'm the one at least for the Mini. I just don't like blinking stuff in my environment. But I live on and the coffee is great.

Bugs me too. Not sure why it's not solid red. The good news is it's my only complaint.

When I'm not running it, I unplug mine. I thought that's what the manual suggested. Maybe that's why it blinks - to remind us that it's still plugged in.
