My compak burrs does not look like that; nor the mahlkonig burrs.

Looks like Macap are trying to save some money by skipping the deburring operation at the end (assuming they are actually Macap OEM replacements). The coffee beans themselves will eventually deburr the teeth, but it will take several pounds of coffee until that happens. Until then, you should expect some inconsistancy.
