Hi Cafesp:

I took this idea from HomeBarista.com. When I received the grinder, the hopper was broken and the seller sent me another hopper. I cut the pocket inside the broken hopper and put it on the 2" X 3" pvc coupling. Why I make this mod? Because the Max make better grind if the column is full, and with this mod I need less coffee.

The Max and all the conic grinder, except the Versalab, are not good for single dose and make a better work when are full of coffee.
