Mini Vivaldi II pulsing on and off during extraction (post-descaling)

I have been using our second Mini Vivaldi II machine for about six months, and the pump has been mostly good, though sometimes it would take a few extra seconds to start the pump when turning on the machine.
However, last night I descaled the machine and cleaned the water screens, and when I tried to run a backlash with a blank basket, it almost immediately stopped pumping (with the three blinking lights) once the pressure got past the green zone on the machine. I tried some shots, and got a pulsing on/off, as seen in this video:

Any ideas what I should be looking for to fix this? I'm happy to replace the pump, but as I understand it, pumps generally just work or don't, so I think it may be something else. Perhaps the flow meter or something with the pressure sensing? Thank you in advance!
