I have an S1 Vivaldi 2, and I need to replace the main fuse holder. Has anyone replaced these, and would have a suggestion for a better quality one that I could use?

A bit of an old post. BUT.
Yes. My S1V2 fuse holder melted. There was no fixing it. I put an automotive fuse holder in, that has 2 heavy gauge(probably 10 gauge) wires and rubber fuse holder with cap, and wired that in. I can just tuck it under the machine and never have to screw around with that cheap fuse holder. And yes i use an automotive fuse with the 2 prongs, not a glass old school fuse.

Thanks zedex. That's actually not a bad idea. I may try that out. I did end up replacing the fuse holder with the same cheap type that came with the machine. I don't expect it'll last very long.

You wouldn't happen to have taken some pictures of your setup ?

For some reason this site is not posting my reply. I already posted this reply and checked to see if it actually posted to the thread and it did. Now log off, come back and its gone. lets see if this sticks. And i also have to submit reply twice.
