Dream opensource FW?

Post by PaulJ2 »

Figure I would take a shot here before cracking open my machine.

It does not look like the FW on these machines will be updated anymore. I have been making a list of things that would be nice to change to improve the usability of the machine. Like putting the back flush option on the first menu instead of the 3rd. I keep from starting from scratch, I was thinking about reverse engineering the existing FW. To prepare the right tool set, does anyone know the microprocessor used by the Dream? If you don't know do you have a high res picture of the processor board?

Thanks,

Paul

I've attached a high res pic of the board and the spec sheet for the MCU used.
