Limited water from outlet, plenty of steam

I came back to my S1 after 18 months apart (sitting idle, unplugged). It seems fine, except the hot water port just give a small amount, then a trickel. Plenty of steam from the wand. I removed to "head" part (w/ the screen), no help.

Any ideas what to check?

Based on the amount of steam coming out instead of hot water, it seems possible that the water level in your steam boiler is too low. Try loosening the nut that keeps the water level probe in place, pull the probe up about 1/4" to 1/3", then retighten the nut.

Thanks. Is there a set of schematics/instructions I should check out?

I have little doubt that LaSpaziale has schematics for this device but they have never shared them with the masses.
However, many people have had issues with the water level sensor over the years. You should be able to find some of these threads using the Forum's search feature.

A couple of comments about that water flow schematic:
1) I don't think that's what the poster is looking for.
2) That is not a LaSpaziale approved document. I created that drawing by taking all the covers off and manually tracing the path of the water lines. I think it's reasonably accurate but I wouldn't give it 100%.
