timer

I had my machine unplugged for 3 weeks while on vacation; when I came home and plugged it back in, my timer didn't turn the machine on in the morning, but it did turn it off at the usual time; the same thing happened the next day
ive had the timer skip occasional days before but not 2 in a row; I generally unplug the machine when I'm not around and this hasn't happened before
any suggestions
