Removal Of Regular Steam Arm

Looking for someone who has had this experience......

When I bought my Mini, I also purchased a no burn steam arm.

I went out and bought a 22mm open end wrench. It fits. I was looking for a 22mm; 3/4 drive socket, but could not find one.

I am afraid to turn too hard. Do (should) I have to remove the side and front panels to make this conversion easy / safe, or should I just return the no burn steam arm and call it a day.

The no burn only has 2 steam holes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why take off the 22mm nut, just remove the steam wand at the joint just under the nut. Put a small wrench or adjustable on the flats to keep the assy from turning & unscrew the wand assy. by hand.

After a week of traveling and looking over the assemblies, I did this on Saturday afternoon.

I will give the no burn arm a whirl today.

Thank you for making a hard project easy.
