I have a leak on the steam boiler, the fitting that has a tube going to the pressure guage.
How best to seal it?
Leak is pointed at by the red arrow.
Green arrow is just a fitting with no nut, which is another question.

That worked!
The leak is where the red arrow is pointing at. You can see some water boiling/bubbling there.
The green arrow points at a fitting that seems to lack the nut - not sure if that is normal?
The machine is a Mini V2, about 7 years old.
Thanks.

That was my expression of joy that the picture link finally worked. I must have tried 4 times.
Also, in the end I used teflon tape on that fitting (more than I thought I should - maybe 4 or 5 wraps) and the leak is gone.
Keep Calm and Espresso On.

Re: How best to seal a leaking fitting?
Teflon tape is the usual answer on most of the fittings.

BTW: The best option is to upload all files to the S1Cafe forum. That way they will always be available on the forum. However, should you ever delete or move the file or delete your GDrive account, the file will no longer be viewable here and a future viewer of your post will just see an X where the photo used to be.
To do that you just scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen, select the Attachments tab, and the click on the "Add files" button.

Thanks, I uploaded the picture.
Any thoughts about the green arrow? that nut-less fitting? (no jokes please).

Re: How best to seal a leaking fitting?
All those boiler pipes normally have a lock nut on top. However, you can do without it so long as the fitting doesn't leak.
