Outstanding Café's

While this topic is not directly S1 related; it is definitely indirectly related. Where do those of us that have been spoiled by and accustomed to the S1's consistently outstanding results go for a coffee when travelling?

Clearly the average chain with super automatic machines and "baristas" who's training consists of knowing which of two buttons to push are out of the question. I'm looking for café's that grind fresh beans as you place your order, manually pack the puck in a portafilter with the same level of love, passion and a bit of OCD that we all do at home.

Is there such a database or a café review board on some other website that someone can point me to?

I'm currently in Ottawa on business and have just discovered Bridgehead coffee houses. There are 11 of them here, they roast their own coffee and use Synesso machines. They pour an outstanding cup! http://www.bridgehead.ca
