Dream-T inline filter with bottled water

Hey guys, I was wanting to know for those of you who have a tanked model if you use use an inline filter in addition to bottled water? I don't have an inline water system installed at my house yet so have been using Crystal Geyser for my water. CG is low in hardness bit I have still been using both. Is it still necessary or is bottled water enough?
*edit* can a moderator fix my title? Lol, didn't catch my phones auto correct and I don't battle my water :)
