Service Alert Issue

Post by chas » Tue Jan 08, 2013 2:42 pm

I am starting to run through the individual menus to check to see how they work and whether there are issues. I found my first one. Can some of you other Dream owners check this out to see if the same thing happens on yours?

The Service menu item has the option to be set for 500, 1000, 2500, or 5000 cycles (shot pulls). When this value counts down to zero the Home display should indicate a service alert. HOWEVER, if this is set to a starting value of 500, as soon as the first shot is pulled and the count hits 499, the machine indicates a Service Alert. Starting with 1000, 2500, or 5000 this does not happen. It is unknown whether than means those values work as they should or whether the Service Alert will still happen when the down count hits 499 regardless of the initial setting.
