Failed Pressure Gauge in S1

Post by Riprazor »

The 2.5 bar 1.5” pressure gauge on my 6 year old S1 just died. It now reads .5 bar while at rest and around 2 bar while at pressure. Figuring I would save a couple of bucks I ordered a 30 PSI 1.5” back mount gauge with a 1/8” NPT fitting. Guess what? It is not a standard NPT gauge. I suspect it is a BPT thread size given the Italian manufacturing. Any one have an idea of where to get an adaptor? Buying a simple 30 PSI gauge is less than half the cost of the original part.

Thanks,
Barry

Hello Barry.

To hook up to the pump line I used a Parker fluid P/N 4-4FMK4SS stainless steel ¼ in BSPP to ¼ in NPT adapter. I think it cost something like $4.

I checked and they also have one for 1/8" (2FMK4SS). No guarantees but it might be what you are looking for.

Hope that helps.
