Funny how the old S1's have a bigger range like, 85-120C and even lower and higher than that with a tweak.
So how was the espresso at that temp for you? Blue Bottle recommends even lower but I don't see the need to drop any lower than 91C for any coffee.
You can always skip the warming flushes and the machine will be several degrees cooler than the programmed temp, this will work as long as you're consistent but once you make one shot after another the machine will warm up to the dialed temp.
