Dead timer.

Post by brentley »

For the past couple of weeks we have had issues with our VII not turning off.

Last weekend I woke up and the machine was off, I checked the timer and it was blank.

the machine would power up but it would only flash three lights and do nothing when the brew buttons were pressed.

so I opened the top and set the timer switch to off, did the power cycle thing and the machine came on.

Pressed the shot buttons again and they worked.

Started to futz around with the time and realized that one of the connectors to the timer on the inside of the timer was broken. Will fix when I get back from the road this week. anyone know if the connectors are standard?
