20 21 solid red blocking error

This occurred the middle of last week. The machine was purchased new in March, 2014. Called Chris Coffee Service and spoke with Tim Coffee. He suspected that it was a bad group temp probe, and sent one out via USPS "priority mail". Installed yesterday, problem solved. As usual, great service from CCS ... thanks Tim!

More of those temperature sensors fail than any other part on these machines. At least you were still in the two year warranty period. I think it's Tim Coffey, but close enough :grin:

Thanks for the correction chas. I guess I had "coffee" on my mind when I wrote it ;-)

I never got it. This machines are built for industrial use (we use them at home but still) with top quality parts.
How come the break more often then the entry level machine ?
never had my Silvia to fail, and actually, never seen Gaggia or any other entry level fail (considering scale out)

But, Happy that you got the replacement under warranty.
