Pressure Profiling with Variable Speed AC motor

Post by steve96822 »

If theres any electrical engineers or the like please weigh in.

What about swapping the LS rotary standard fixed speed motor with an AC variable speed motor and controller such as

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Low-rpm-Motor- ... SwBRFaOOHX

Or theoretically https://www.ebay.com/itm/Motor-Router-S ... SwYJNaubNJ .
https://www.ebay.com/itm/4000W-220V-AC- ... SwTO9aIK5N

assuming the stock LS motor will support it.

Suppose the LS pressure gauge could be somehow used to judge bar's or perhaps a pressure-flow sensor could be spliced in somewhere.
The AC motor seems to not need a bulky DC power supply like the DC motor.

I am interested if someone has a needle valve/flow profiling mod on their Spazialle S1 machine.

Pressure profiling on the Mini Vivaldi that has vibe motor is possible as I implemented one and works beautifully. My journey is described in the link below
