New V2 "Cheat Sheet"

Post by chas »

I updated the Vivaldi II cheat sheet I created quite a while ago to include programmable preinfusion and enhanced offset programming. See example below. To download a copy go to the S1 VII Website.

...and if you need more, here's the Mother of all Cheat Sheets. This is also posted in PDF on the S1 VII Website (called "single page programming reference guide") but it can be used for VII or VII Mini with or without the July 2008 programming upgrade.

If for some reason you are unsure whether you have an upgraded version. Try the instructions for Programmable Preinfusion, If they work, you have the upgrade. If not, you don't.

As a second option, try the instructions for standard temperature offset and enhanced temperature offset. Only one will work. If enhanced is the one that works, you have the upgrade. If standard is the one that works, you don't!

Also, it is theorized that somewhere in the world LaSpaziale is still selling the original S1V1 but using this new board design. That is why it includes the V1 mode shown at the bottom. The V1 mode is literally 100% compatible with the functionality of the original V1. This means that if you are in that mode you do NOT get preinfusion or enhanced temperature offset. Main temperature setting and standard temperature offset controls work as described above when in V1 mode. However, they are defined per the original V1 functionality where master temperature control is in 5C increments and the temp offset is in a plus or minus 3C range.
