How do you to turn the VII on after the timer has shut off

How do you to turn the VII on after the timer has shut off

I tried to turn the VII on this AM after the timer shut off. When I hit the power button nothing happens.
If I hold it in for 3 seconds or more I go into program mode.
I tried changing the timer mode from

That's crazy!
It shouldn't happen, did you try unplugging the unit and then power up again after reconnecting it to the socket?

OK, I could PID and pressure mod my Silvia
Make my own TC for an E61 group head,upgrade/change out
heating elements and pressure stats with no problem.

So it seems I can't read blinking lights. :roll:
I just needed to hold in the power button for the five seconds

Well I thought that's what you were doing Tom.
Sometimes I feel inadequate when a DVD menu doesn't make any sense to me...
