Closer look at "3-way T#1"

Post by wgaggl »

In the waterflow diagram http://www.rimpo.org/s1/S1Flow.html there's a valve called "3-way T#1". A closer look at the machine tells me, there's more ot it than a T-fitting. As an electrical engineer I'm not a mechanical wiz, but there's something that looks like an adjstable screw/nut on it, that reminds me either of an adjstable backflow valve or even more of a flow regulator. Maybe any of you with more insight can look at it (it's located behind the expansion valve) and enlighten me?
