The premise is that La Spaziale is providing 2 sets such that busy cafes would just change the screens on the go and cleaned and soak the dirty ones without creating any interruption.

Instead of backflushing, La Spaziale designed the machine around the idea of using a two screen grouphead instead of backflushing, so as to trap the odd piece of grounds between the screens. They even provided an extra free set of screens specifically for this purpose Agreed, but I hate taking out ...

You are right Chas.
I forgot that Indeed I had to change the bolts because they were too short to get 2 washers (or a secondary nut). It was an horrible process to try to get the fan back with the bolts stuck in place by the secondary nut. Slipping two washers taped together is easier in my opinion.

Re: Ive got a thought for a "profiling" mod. . .
Unfortunatly, once you cut the pump, the pressure will drop down to the line pressure almost instantaneously...To maintain the pressure you have to either apply pressure or prevent the release of it. Water being pretty much incompressible, it does not take a lot of flow to get the pressure down. To ...

After questionning the need and benefit of a pressure regulator I finally installed one to bring the line pressure down. The Ikea LED "pods" have a focused beam. Don't know the angle but you get off beam within +/-45 so it can't be more than 90 degrees.

Maybe its something unique to the Vivaldi, because Ive read this question quite often, but IMO, there is no need for an absolute seal.... The Vetrano kit is using 3/8" JG fittings & the 3/8 refers to the OD of the tubing/pipe that the JG will accept. The actual size (ID) of the drain hole is approx 7/32" which as I said is a pretty small drain hole. Factor in the grounds rinsed out of your p/f & there isn't going to...
