It would be helpful if you post a photo. It's kind of finding a needle in a haystack from your description alone ....

Thanks for posting all this information Andy [emoji4] It is so good to have someone like you on the forum that tingle with the mechanics to make it even better. A few years back I was more active, but I think I'll be copying this mod.

Re: Questions - my first day with Mini V2

I agree to Chas' observations and also my hot water tap deliver water as yours - and really should as the pressure has been increased (+3) and the water will come out overheated and flash boil. I also got quite an amount of wet steam to begin with. Using that to wetten my cloth so that the steam wan...

Re: Mini Vivaldi II S1 Water running out under machine

I have fixed two mini's that was leaking this way. Both had to be cleaned in and around the valve and realigned. It seemed that due to the leakage the user had tried to push the tank further in and thereby bending the fixation plate... resulting in even more leakage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The crema in it self is not that desirable I think.... however, more freshly roasted beans increase crema. I roast my own beans and typically leave them degassing/developing for one to two weeks before use

The tip needs to be a no burn type as well - with a sealing o-ring to the hose. If not it will push steam backwards up the outside of the hose = wet steam no matter what....

No experience with this on a Vivaldi, however you can easily get in there - small philips screws - then clean the pads. I had to disassemble the unit to change a faulty LED

Re: Vivaldi Not Turning on

I have no fuse there either, but inside the black control box you'll find a fuse. It's not easy to get out but I've done it several times..... If it was a powerline short circuit from the thermo-fuse directly to ground you might be lucky as your RCD reacted fast and only a small spike went into the ...

And it works on my V2 as well !! Took some notes as to what preasure ranges can be set - expect some uncertainty reading my build in gauge. Number of hot-water-button press and related range (bar): 3 = 0.92-1.05 2 = 1.00-1.10 1 = 1.10-1.20 Number of double-cup-button press: 1 = 1.15-1.30 2 = 1.20-1....
