Hi,
I had this happen to me too. In my case, the vacuum breaker became sticky from age. I took the vacuum breaker off (using a hex socket, I forget the size) and gave it a vinegar bath and good scrub. If you go this route, remember to apply teflon tape to the threads when reinstalling.

So I finally had a chance to take a look at the internals of the "non return valve" at the tank outlet. The compression coil spring responsible for sealing the valve is completely rusted up and disintegrates at the touch. That after two months :shock: Here is a photo:
