Old post but the fuse holder on the V2s are junk. Mine just melted and fell apart. I wired in an automotive fuse holder with 2 wires and it holds an automotive fuse. Hangs under the machine i can easily pull it out and change the fuse when it does blow which it will.

Hi Chas. You dont happen to have the parts manual for the S1 V2? The parts manual you provided in post 2 is not the same as a Vivaldi II. If you look at the parts list for the steam wand. Well. My seal is not great as it still leaks. Not the proper seal. So i see chris coffee has them which is where i bought my machine. Looks good. 2 o ring seals. $2.90. looks good. Shipping to Canada. Only $39.30. lol. 2 tiny seals you can put in an envelope. $40 to ship them. hmmm. Thats a deal.

Steam wand vivaldi II

Quick question i did a 4 page search but no luck.
I have a water drip only in certain positions where the steam wand swivels on the machine. So i have good steam and a small drip at the swivel itself. Is there an Oring or some type of seal on that swivel fitting?

Re: Preparing mini S1V2 for storage/shipping

I think if i were to ship my machine i would completley remove the top cap and wrap it up seperately. That way any remaining moisture could still drain into the vol. sensor body and cause no damage. Nice thing is its really easy to get to and simply removes with an allen key. There is also a fine rub...

Re: whats this?

Interesting read.Judging by your post of your particular occurence. I assume you had the brew temp up to 95 since all your lights up to 95 were on. Also interesting that some temp lights stay blinking, the machine must have been on a heat cycle during the shutdown. Since some temp lights stay blinki...

Mine is 15/20 switch. Bought in Dec 2011 from CCS. CCS probably has his machines build with the covetted 15/20 sticker.

Re: Metal Drip Tray Mod

Thanks very much. I found some brass fittings that will work for the drain, but cant find a stainless 3/8" pipe nut so i will have to make one. I should have a few minuted tomorrow to make one up and weld the nut into the tray. Hopefully the drain will work like i think it will....

Re: Metal Drip Tray Mod

The decal can be removed by getting behind a corner of the decal with an exacto knife and gently prying it out. Its a flexible decal and has some depth. Keep prying until you can grab it with your fingers and gently remove it. It comes off and the sticky part stays with the decal so you can reapply ...

well. here it is . I have not installed my drain yet, but thats the easy part. Re: New owner here.....waaaazzzzup!

My steam want makes a squeeking sound as well, but its the spring inside the ball mechanism so i live with it. It seems to be quieting down somewhat, so it doesnt bother me really. My silvia steam wand was dead quiet so i immediately noticed this wand.

Re: New owner here.....waaaazzzzup!

My pucks are dry on my v2 and quality of shots is excellent. Once you bring your line pressure down to 30 lbs your pucks will probably be drier.Preinfusion is at line pressure so in your case 80lbs.

Re: New owner here.....waaaazzzzup!

I agree with the looks of the V2 being pleasing to the eye. The other stainless brands IMO look like they belong in a medical lab, they look too sterile with twisted tubes and guages. I did like the look of my old silvia though. It was suptle.

Vivaldi 2 ? Are the shiny bits stainless?

Hi. I was examining the stainless front and was looking at the almost mirror finish. Is that chrome plate on mild steel? Reason i as is, a magnet sticks to the steel very well so its either low grade stainless or chrome plate mild steel. If its stainless i will probably brush it, not a fan of the sh...

Re: Beans storage, parameter alterations, etc. Questions???

I dont actually agree with timing shots. Every bean is different. If you know what a good shot looks like visually, thats the reference i use. So when i start on a new bean,i watch my shot, if it happens to end when my machine shuts off,...good. If it doesnt, then adjust(reprogram) the time for your n...

Re: Would you like to see an all stainless V2?

Hi. I doubt i would attempt to sell the SS side panels. It would not be cost effective. Would you like to see an all stainless V2?

Hi. I have a fabrication/machine shop and i'm batting around the idea in my head of an all SS V2. The sides 1/8 SS,contoured just like the originals. The tray would be a bit squarer on the front and would accommodate the timer. The drain tray would be angled toward the drain at back of tray . The gr...

Plus the fact that its the lowest elevation on the machine. A small bleed screw would work in the brass body.

I took the sensor apart and yes, the base is cracked. Its back together but the seal is damaged so it still ...

Yea. It doesnt leak much water, probably about an ounce or so and collects under the boiler so,no biggie. Will just have a cloth under it until CCS sends out a new part.
