I normally leave my Vivaldi II fully powered up 24/7. I use it fairly often, the power consumption is low and I know that big temperature swings and long heating element run times are tough on metal (as in start up from cold)
I however do turn the machine off fully when I'm going to be gone for a while. I got home from DC just today and turned the machine on and walked away. Came back to an overflowing drip tray! Any ideas? The steam boiler did a fill when I turned the steam boiler on, perhaps it overfilled and then over pressured and vented the extra water?
Full drip tray on startup?
Re: Full drip tray on startup?
The only time I had anything close to this happen my problem was solved with a good hard Cafiza backflush cycle. The problem seemed to be that my OPV (I may be using the incorrect name for this valve) was not sealing completely causing a persistent drip that was filling the drip tray.
