Insulation or not

Post by Chura »

Hi,

I love my Vivaldi :)
I was thinking maybe to insulate the boilers.
I've read few threads here, very helpfull but most of them very old.
Enzo said its no relevant while Chas said it is :)
I'm seeing this as a reduction of electricity draw purpose mainly.

Thanks,
Chen

I'd thought about insulating my machine for a while, but as I only leave the brew boiler on, I never bothered.

I insulated my steam boiler on the mini, and the element seems to go on much less often, i.e. Less electricity, though I've no hard numbers. Considering the cost (low) it was worth it
