Since I received my V2 in March I haven't turned on my V1 (with dual gauge) in quite a while. I am now trying to sell it and am getting it all set and spec'd up for the new owner.....whoever that may be.
I have a softener system hooked up to a pressure regulator (25 psi when drawing water) and then a 1/8" line to the S1 V1. When I activated the brew button water started coming out very fast, much faster than my V2. I put in a backflush disk in the p/f and calibrated to 12.5, adjusted opv, then backed it down to 8.75 bar.
Could someone let me know what the rate of flow from the brewhead should be (without preinfusion, of course).
Thanks -
Darren
Group head water flow speed without screens
Re: Group head water flow speed without screens
I have a S1 Mini and have been trying to suss out this issue for some time.
I use a La Marzocco Linea at work and tried this test there. Only ran for around 2 seconds!
My Mini I worked out for a single shot of around 25ml or so is 10sec with the grouphead removed and 12 sec for a double shot around 40ml or so.
