Hot water leaking

Postby OskiFan » Mon Jan 21, 2008 12:35 am

I just got my machine about 3 weeks ago and all of a sudden, after getting a cup of hot water from the dispenser, the hot water will not longer turn off and drips constantly unless we turn off the boiler.

I saw the following post (http://www.s1cafe.com/viewtopic.php?p=5 ... light=#538) but do not know where the solenoid valve is. Does anyone have any picts that can tell me what to take apart and whether I have to take the sides and back off to get to it.

Thanks

The water flow diagram in the manual shows it in the line between the steam boiler & hot water outlet closer to the outlet. Take off the top cover & follow the line from the boiler. Should be easy to spot.

Thanks everyone for your help. this was an easy fix; took maybe 10 minutes total once I realized what had to be taken apart. This website is one of the reasons I purchased a La Spaz versus some other competitor, and my experience today convinced me I made the right decision.

What did the problem turn out to be? Metal shaving?
